Teaching and Learning
The school believes that learning is a lifelong process, therefore it aims to equip its students with the relevant skills and mindset they need to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing world. Three counselors support students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. All counselors provide responsive services, individual planning, and systems support to their respective age groups.
Students with mild learning disabilities, physiological conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, significant lags in an academic skill area, or other circumstance that results in the need for regular weekly support are supported through the auspices of their Learning Assistance program for grades 1-12.
"English Language Learning programme which provides support to students with limited English proficiency is offered by the school. The purpose of this program is to support students as they develop the English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills needed to achieve success in all content areas.
The school also offers IXL programme. IXL is a comprehensive, standards-aligned math practice programme offering unlimited problems in thousands of skills. One of the best things about IXL is that students can access it from school and from home.
It's worth to mention that M'KIS has a 24 hour security for the safety of the students."
