One of the oldest Chinese schools in the country, Chong Hwa Independent High School started off in Setapak 1919 before moving to its current Jalan Ipoh location in 1947.
The school is well know for it’s academic excellence with 100% passing rate for all government examinations since it’s conception. It has a total of 4,000 students currently studying.
A former all girls’ school, Kuen Cheng High School opened its doors to male students in 2008 and changed its name to Kuen Cheng High School. The school is located at Persiaran Syed Putra, Kuala Lumpur.
Founded in 1908, the school’s heritage includes it being one of the first institutions that offered education to women.
