There's a new international school opening its doors soon to families in Johor Baru and the wider Johor community. Crescendo-HELP International School is an independent international school established by HELP Education Group, offering world-class education at an affordable price.
The school will open its doors on the 1st February 2017 to students from Year 1 to Year 9.
HELP International Corporation (HELP Group) was incorporated on 20 June 2005 as the investment holding company for its various businesses, which are primarily in the field of education. Currently, the HELP Group consists of five main institutions, HELP University (HU), HELP Academy (HA), HELP College of Arts and Technology (HELP CAT), the College of Automotive Technology Management, a joint venture with NAZA Group of Companies, and HELP International School.
HELP International School is HELP Group's first foray into primary and secondary education in Malaysia. The school is modelled after UK's syllabus leading up to the Cambridge A-Levels. The school began operations in January 2014 at Subang Bestari, Selangor.
Crescendo-HELP International School was officially opened by Dato' Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Menteri Besar of Johor, together with Gooi Seong Lim, Chairman and Managing Director of Crescendo Corporation Berhad, and Datuk Dr Paul Chan, Co-Founder and Vice Chancellor of HELP University.
The school is located in a quiet, residential area of Desa Cemerlang, on a site adjacent to Crescendo International College, with excellent access to all areas of Johor Baru and beyond.
While academia underpins all that the school does, above all else its warm, inclusive, family atmosphere sets the school apart. The staff are enthusiastic and dedicated and pupils are motivated to achieve their very best in all aspects of school life. The school strongly believes developing pupils into well-rounded individuals is key, to which end the school provides a wealth of opportunities in sports, music, drama, arts and a wide variety of other pursuits across the whole age range within the curriculum and as part of their co-curricular programme.
Sports development is an integral part of Crescendo-HELP International School

Active learning happens best when the students are engaged with the topic. With this purpose in mind, Crescendo-HELP International School adopts the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) which ensures rigorous and participative learning using a comprehensive and thematic approach.
Students from lower secondary are exposed to a range of subjects that allow for their curious minds to explore various themes and subjects. This is to prepare them for upper secondary where students choose their IGCSE subjects in order to move them on for tertiary education. The International Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the registered trademark of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) offers qualifications that are internationally recognised and accepted by colleges and universities around the world.
