Fairview International School to offer IB Chinese Primary Years Programme

In collaboration with the University of Hong Kong, the Fairview International School will introduce a new programme called the IB Chinese Primary Years Programme. The programme is scheduled to begin in August at the Subang and Kuala Lumpur campuses.
Under the IB Chinese Primary Years Programme, core subjects like Science and Mathematics will be taught in Chinese. Meanwhile, other non-core subjects including Arts, Music, Dance and Physical Education, will use English as the medium of instruction.
The key purpose of introducing this programme is to develop pupils into becoming bilingual lifelong learners.
