In the first wave of 2013, the ministry will carry out other initiatives such as high-order thinking skills (HOTS) training for 31,000 Form One to Form three Science and Mathematics teachers.

i-Think training, which encourages innovative and critical thinking, will be given to some 2,500 teachers from 500 schools. At the same time, training will be provided to around 15,882 teachers in virtual learning environment (VLE).
