Students of Fairview International School soaring towards Oxford and Cambridge universities

More than ten percent of Fairview International School’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) students have met the entry requirements, to pursue their studies at the Oxford and Cambridge universities. An IBDP graduate will require a minimum test score of 38 to get into any one of the two top universities.

The school itself is now placed at the top of the pile in Malaysia, where IBDP test scores are concerned, with a four-year average score of 36.4 points.

Some 60 percent of the Fairview students scored 36 points or more in the most recent exam. Any international school getting a test score of above 35 points is regarded as one of the best performing in the world, considering the average global IBDP test score stands at about 30 over a maximum of 45 points.

Fairview International School’s average IBDP test scores stood at 35.2 points, placing the school in the top 27 per cent bracket, worldwide.
