The International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum came about in the 60’s when a dedicated band of teachers from the International School of Geneva crated the IB Diploma Programme and helped kick off the creation of the International Schools Examination Syndicate which later became the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).
