Must-Visit Places for Your Kids During the School Holidays: If your kids are bored out of their wits staying at home during the school holidays, then you might want to give this piece a read.We've compiled a list of fun attractions and programmes for you and your kids so you can have fun while spending quality time as a family. Here is the list of fun places to visit during the school holidays:

1. Farm In The City

True to its name, Farm In the City is located in Seri Kembangan behind Giant Seri Kembangan which might come off as an odd location for a farm, but then again it is a farm in the city. This farm features a variety of animal species such as prairie dogs, meerkats, ponies, raccoons and deers to name a few.The fact that most of the animals are walking freely among visitors has granted the farm an award for the Best Attraction and Tourism Experience. Visitors can enjoy feeding the animals at no additional costs and also feel the warm furriness of the animals on their arms as they pose for a picture.For mykad holders, the entrance fee is RM 39 for adult and RM 32 for kids below the age of 12. 2. Skytrex Adventure

If feeding animals are too mundane for your kids, head on to Skytrex Adventure in Sg Congkak for a crazy adrenaline-pumping experience. The first of its kind in Malaysia, the Skytrex Adventure enables you to swing, glide, fly and dangle from various suspended obstacles that is spread around ush tropical Malaysian rainforest. With parks in Shah Alam, Langkawi and also Melaka, this visit is guaranteed to make you gasping for your breath especially when you find yourself looking down from an obstacle. 3. District 21 @ IOI City Mall, Putrajaya

All their 11 attractions are void of passive rides which means that this is the place for you to get crazy.Power Station, Roller Glider and The Maze are three of their most popular attractions so your kids can experience an interactive climbing area, zooming down the roller glider screaming their lungs out and also a vertical labyrinth of tunnels, cages and funky challenges. Located in Bangsar Shopping Centre and also Atria Shopping Gallery, this wonderland is guaranteed to keep your kids busy for at least a few hours. Ball pits, trampoline, movie room; you name it they have it. Babies can hang out in Babyland where tots under 2 years old can crawl around and play in the safe playground. Best known as an activity and learning centre for all ages, Lara's Place is a great place for kids to spend their school holidays at. The school holiday programme is jampacked with activities for all ages from sushi making classes and DIY soap making projetcs to 3D modelling computer course and story cartooning workshops.Their school holiday programme is divided into two categories which are for preschoolers and teenagers. 6. Little Planet

Priced from RM2 to RM4 per bowl of soap, making and popping the balloons can probably keep the kids occupied for hours at a time.You can also add in the fun by teaching the kids to fly a kite since the outdoor garden is very spacious and can be quite windy on some days making it ideal for a kite flying and bubble blowing session with the whole family. 10. Diving and Swimming Classes @ Sealantis

Always wanted to go on a beach holiday but find yourself being held back by the fact that you don't know how to swim? 11. Jumpstreet @ Petaling Jaya

If you feel more comfortable spending quality time with your family indoors, check out Jumpstreet which is basically a gigantic indoor trampoline made for people of all ages. Adults and kids will find this attraction to be one of their favorites after spending an hour literally on their heels.Those new to trampolines can spend some time in the main court before advancing to the foam pit to release their inner leaper. Kids are also welcomed at Camp 5 where they have provided medium sized boulders for kids to test their climbing skills.
