Are you ready for the new wave? Eight year old Fairview students are studying the PH level of a muddy river, keeping track of the water consumed and conducting a survey with Indah Water.Yet the most inportant of all, coming up with ideas and suggestions to resolve issues and take action.After working on a unit of water for six weeks, grade 4 students of Fairview in the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate Programme (PYP), have decided to auction thier paintings, conducting book and cake sales to raise money for the Ryan's Well project in Africa started by a 10 year old.20160503215502_Fairview1With Fairview, students as young as 10 embark the overseas twice a year on a journey to learn. To see for themselves how the 'bigger' world is 'forcing' them away from their comfort zones. During the learning expeditions, students are tasked to be independent, build confidence and team spirit.20160503215534_Fairview2It is these small gestures that create lasting impacts to the students of Fairview, that leaning is not limited to books and excellant grades. Through Fairview, a child learns without borders and learning for real life experiences.
