GIS fundraising collaboration with Aquaria KLCC

Garden International School (GIS) recently collaborated with Aquaria KLCC for a fundraising campaign that aims to raise awareness and educate the masses about the endangered marine species in Malaysia.

GIS Aquaria

GIS Year 7 students came up with the idea of making earbud wraps in the shape of marine animals such as otter, octopus, turtle and other marine species with the help of their teachers. Visitors who donate a minimum amount of RM9.90 will be given an earbud wrap which were made by the students themselves. Approximately 50 earbud wraps were sold on the first day of its launch at Aquaria KLCC.

Ryan Ball who is Head of Design Technology at GIS takes pride in the work of his students and believes that this is a wonderful opportunity for them to experiences career opportunities related to design and manufacture. He further reinstated this by saying, "This is a fantastic opportunity for our students and I want to personally thank Aquaria KLCC for giving our students a genuine design and make opportunity."
