In this section we list all the private and international school in Shah Alam along with a description of each and a link to their School Adivsor profile.

1- Tenby Schools

Tenby International School was founded in Ipoh in 1960 by expatriate planters, miners and soldiers who wanted to make sure their children received high quality education based on a traditional British system. The school is named after the founding principal, Mrs. Dorothy Nelson-Doig’s hometown, Tenby, a small fishing village in Wales. Tenby has a few campuses throughout Malaysia - Ipoh, Penang, Setiea Eco Park, and Setia Eco Gardens. The Miri campus offers only the national curriculum. (Read More)

2- Kuala Lumpur Chinese Taipei School

 The Kuala Lumpur Chinese Taipei School was founded in 1991 as an international school. Teaching is in Mandarin Chinese, and English is offered as a subject. Teaching materials are sourced from Taiwan. Taiwanese students are eligible for support from the Taiwan Ministry of Education, to the amount of 5000 NT for every semester and accident insurance of 80 NT every semester. The school uses the Taiwanese national curriculum. The education schedul follows Taiwan's, with two terms in a year. The year starts in September and ends in June. (Read more)

3- MAZ International School

MAZ International School was established in 1992 with a campus in Petaling Jaya. Over the years, the school has grown tremendously and recently opened its full-boarding and day school campus in Shah Alam. The main medium of instruction at the school is the National British Curriculum and presently, the school has students from across 35 countries. The school offers the British National curriculum form preschool to secondary school. It also offers a pre-university programme (Years 11 and 12) in the form of the AS and A Levels from the University of Cambridge and Edexcel Boards. (Read more)

R.E.A.L Schools was founded in 1985, and have 28 years worth of experience in quality educational services. There are three campuses; Shah Alam, Cheras, and Johor. Each campus offers both an international curriculum and the Malaysian national curriculum. 5- TheJapanese School of Kuala Lumpur

  

The Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur is one of the only schools in Malaysia offering the Japanese Curriculum. The school premises are substantial, equivalent to the twofold Tokyo-Dome.
