About Austin Heights International School
Austin Heights runs both private and international schools. Austin Heights International School is divided into the International Preschool and the International School consisting of primary and secondary. The school strives to develop students physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual development. It uses modern technology and the latest teaching methodologies.The International Preschool offers the International Primary Curriculum integrated with learning targets of the British National Curriculum.
The International School offers the Cambridge Primary Curriculum and the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum culminating in the IGCSEs. The teachers undergo continuous professional development and are regularly reevalued to ensure competency and teaching quality.
Besides adopting the International Primary Curriculum, they also adopt the Cambridge International Primary Programme Curriculum which covers the the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science while Bahasa Malaysia is a mandatory subject for all Malaysian citizens.
Sharing a common campus ground with it's sister school, Austin Heights Private school, the school has state of the art ICT facilities that help to support the teaching and learning initiatives here at Austin Heights. With an intergrated network of ICT tools, the school has full wifi coverage coupled with specialised classrooms with smartboards. Coupled with dedicated learning spaces for ICT and performing arts, the school provides a significant amount of facilities to enhance the learning experience here at Austin Heights.
Furthermore, Austin Heights International School also has extensive indoor and outdoor sporting facilities that includes a 25 meter swimming pool, outdoor basketball courts and a multi-puporse hall. Security is provided via round the clock security personnel and CCTV coverage of the entire school.
