MAZ International School was established in 1992 with a campus in Petaling Jaya. Over the years, the school has grown tremendously and recently opened its full-boarding and day school campus in Shah Alam. The main medium of instruction at the school is the National British Curriculum and presently, the school has students from across 35 countries.
The school offers the British National curriculum form preschool to secondary school. It also offers a pre-university programme (Years 11 and 12) in the form of the AS and A Levels from the University of Cambridge and Edexcel Boards with a total of 10 different subjects offered ranging from biology to law. Secondary school students have the option of studying several foreign languages, namely Hindi, Arabic, French and Mandarin. Bahasa Malaysia is a compulsory language for Malaysian students while Islamiyat is offered as a subject for Muslim students.
MAZ International School can accommodate up to 1000 boarders aged 13 and above. Students will be assigned 2 to a room, with boys and girls in their respective blocks. Special arrangements can be made for siblings wishing to stay together, young boarders, or first time boarders. The school has a total of 75 fully air-conditioned classrooms, dedicated learning spaces for science and arts, a turfed sporting field, a swimming pool and outdoor basketball courts.
