About Sekolah Rendah Sathya Sai
Sekolah Rendah Sathya Sai is a private day school set up by the Sathya Sai Baba Central Council of Malaysia, an interfaith non-profit NGO. Established in 2002, the school provides free primary education to children irrespective of race and religion from the surrounding areas as well as the children from the adjacent Pure Life Society orphanage.The school places emphasis on teaching human values; it is integrated into the school curriculum. The school, together with the council, also provides training for its teachers.
Sekolah Rendah Sathya Sai follows the national KBSR education syllabus and curriculum. The main medium of instruction is Bahasa Malaysia, although the English language is closely supported.
All students sit for the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) at Year 6. A unique and important feature of the school is that great emphasis is placed on Education in Human Values, which is fully integrated into the school curriculum.
