‘Virtually, there is nothing ISKL can’t do’ - ISKL Kicks Off Its Live Virtual Tour Campaign

The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) recently announced its Live Virtual Tour Program to prospective parents, showcasing the best of ISKL’s 25-acre, state-of-the-art campus located at Ampang Hilir.

Julia Love, Director of Admissions at ISKL emphasised that ISKL’s new live virtual tour is an excellent way for families to view the campus from the comfort of their home or their office, wherever they may be in the world.

ISKL’s admissions officers can take prospective families on a virtual tour either by using their tablet or phone, through a variety of social media platforms. This is a great way to engage in conversation with parents - and is very similar to how we would bring them on an actual campus tour. As if they were right there with us in person.

While other schools might have pre-recorded virtual tour videos, the key differentiator is that this one is live. In the same way parents would tour the campus in person and ask questions of one of our admissions officers, parents can ask while touring the school virtually, personalising the experience.

One of the benefits of offering a live virtual tour is that prospective families have an opportunity to decide what they'd like to see, based on what they feel is most important to them. They might want to tour ISKL’s Arts, Theater or Music departments - the classrooms, labs and libraries, or have a tour of the whole school. The admissions team has the ability to create bespoke tours according to the needs and preferences of prospective families.

Further, to account for different time zones, tours can be scheduled for families in North America and Europe. “As long as there is a secure internet connection, we can arrange a tour.”

Typically, a tour of ISKL’s campus takes 30 to 40 minutes; however, we can customize the times for each family, be it longer or shorter. Julia says,

‘At the moment, we are prioritizing families who plan to apply for the new academic year, starting in August. We are trying to be as flexible as we can, so if there is a time that doesn’t work for them on the Open Apply site, they can contact us via email or phone,” Julia said.
