5 Activities for the weekend with the kids

Schools out and you've finally got the weekend off! The weekend would be a great time to plan some family activities that would help bring you closer to the kids but at the same time have an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.


School Advisor has come up with a list of 5 activities that you could do with the children over this weekend.


5. Disney Pixar in Concert, Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO)

The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) brings to you an aural experience that must not be missed for the entire family. Memorable music from MPO will be accompanied by clips from memorable Pixar movies such as Finding Nemo and Toy Story.

4. 75 years of Batman Exhibition, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Evil doers beware, the Capped Crusader is in Kuala Lumpur!

Highlights include a Bat Museum that tracks through the history of Batman over 3/4 of a century, the very first holographic projection of the iconic Batmobile in Asia and 1:1 scale replicas of Bruce Wayne and other characters from Gotham City.

3. Swiss Dream Circus, Mutiara Park

A circus like no other, the Swiss Dream Circus combines aerial and acrobatic performances that would take your breath away and death defying stunts involving motorcycles, jugglers and don’t forget the clowns!

   

World famous for the entertaining experience for the entire family, this is their first ever tour of Malaysia and the circus will be here from the 6th to the 15th of June at Mutiara Park.

2.  Bicycle Ride around the KL Botanical Gardens

   

The Perdana Botanical Gardens is definitely a sight to behold. With a lake at the center, the Gardens are a suitable avenue for parents to take their children out on a bicycle to enjoy and experience nature.

 

Mon-Sun, 7am to 8pm, Bicycle Rental is at RM 6.00 per hour, Perdana Botanical Gardens Website.

 

 

1. Junior Chef School Holiday Class, Apple Kitchen Bandar Sunway

 

A cooking class designed for children of the ages 6 to 12, the lunchtime class from 2.00pm to 3.30pm provides for children the experience and joys of learning to make two simple dishes and the opportunity to bond and make new friends in class.
