Educational apps for children in Primary International Schools

The usage of the electronic tablets such as the Ipad for education purposes is gaining popularity amongst parents and children in Malaysia. The handheld electronic tablet provides a unique experience in which children could enjoy and learn at the same time.

The rigors on an International syllabus coupled with the limitations in which we are able to access resources and learning material is leveraged by the availability of electronic tablets apps such as the ones listed below.

The precious period during the early years of education in primary school would focus on numeracy, literacy, with exposure to concepts in sciences, arts and the humanities.

1. Science Glossary

Available: Only on the iPadPrice: USD 1.99An interactive introduction to the human anatomy, the app provides a fun experience for children and parents alike in learning the human body with the different layers of human anatomy.With some 5 million downloads, the app also provides and rewards curiosity by providing simple easy to understand explanation that provides children with a better understanding of the human body.

6. Let’s Do Mental Maths for ages 10-11

Available: Only on the iPadPrice: USD 3.35Practising mental math skills in the race against time, the app provides students the opportunity to sharpen the mental math skills with an endless variety of questions that progressively increase in difficulty.

7. Book Creator

Available: Only for the iPadPrice: FreeThe creative app allows for users to create e-books using the Ipad and the unique ability to share them with friends or even submit them to the Books store.

8. Comic Life
