The certification is recognition of the knowledge, projects and applications of Autodesk software implemented in the school’s curriculum particularly in the Design & Technology (DT) subjects.
This achievement enables GIS to offer Autodesk Certification to employees and students to validate their skills. The Head of DT, Ryan Ball and two DT teachers, Naomi James and John Allan will be the authorised academic instructors upon completing an online course and examination.

“We have utilised Autodesk softwares for the past five years in various DT projects such as F1 in Schools Challenge, IGCSE works, A-levels assignments and beyond. Having the qualification to offer industry-recognised certificates to students will help them build their portfolio for university admission and increase their employability in the market,” said Ryan Ball, the Head of Design and Technology faculty during the Autodesk ASEAN Learning Partner Summit hosted in GIS today.
