Datuk Mary Yap, the Deputy Education Minister said it would help if the ministry conducted a study on the success factors behind certain private schools, adding that these schools were, after all, also under the ministry’s purview.

“I have suggested that private schools have a sharing session, to talk about their experiences of running the schools”, said Yap.

She further mentioned that, “We share pride in the development of private schools, which excel at the international level. Based on the feedback received in the drafting of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025, parents and the public want to see improved quality in the teaching and learning activities at schools,” she pointed out."
