Putrajaya reported today that a total of 4,896 UPSR candidates (1.11%) under the new format of the 2016 Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) scored all As. The new format is not the same as last year’s, which could be a reason to avoid comparing last year's result to this year’s."Based on this year's results, we can see that students are capable of answering open-response questions," said Khair.NST reported this year's exam results as follows: 8,345 pupils scored a maximum of 1B; 35,752 (minimum 2Bs); 91,366 (minimum 1C); 152,825 (minimum 1D); 137,262 (minimum 1E); 9,519 secured all Es, while 817 scored other combinations. In 2016 UPSR, grade A is categorised as 'excellent', grade B (good), grade C (satisfactory), grade D (achieved minimum level) and grade E (has not achieved minimum level).Check UPSR results online
