Marlborough College Malaysia Announces Outstanding IGCSE Exam Results

Marlborough College Malaysia has announced yet another set of outstanding IGCSE results with 69% of grades being at A/A*. The College can justifiably be proud of the cohort of seventy nine candidates, some of whom have been at the College since it started in 2012.

One pupil achieved an exceptional 12A* grades, with another achieving 11A* and three others achieving 10A* grades; impressively, almost a quarter of the year group (24%) succeeded in securing A* grades in every subject sat. Overall, 95% of the grades awarded were at A* to C, with 41%  at A* and 69% at A*/A, beating the College’s own impressive record.

Alan Stevens, the Master of the College, commented, “I want to offer my warmest congratulations to all the pupils on their excellent performance in their IGCSEs. Their hard work and dedication has been clearly rewarded and we are all very proud of their achievement. These results, which are outstanding by any benchmark, are testament to the exceptional quality of a Marlborough education, where ambitious academic study is a central part of our offering and, complemented by a wide range of other experiences and challenges, it develops well-rounded, capable, confident and happy young people. Today's results lay an excellent foundation for Sixth Form at MCM where we look forward to developing their potential even further.”
