The 8th Private & International School Fair in Kuala Lumpur will be held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre this weekend.Every year, the private and international schools exhibition is held in Kuala Lumpur to promote quality education that meets international standards and cater for the needs of children and parent from all backgrounds.During the fair, parents will have the opportunity to interact with schools and teachers and develop a greater understanding of the types of curriculum, fees, languages and facilities available in different schools.The fair aims to provide the ideal platform for schools to meet with parents, and for parents to find a suitable school for their children. Parents can also attend talks by education experts or have their children participate in free workshops and activities for children ages 12 and below.There will be more than 10 speakers covering various topics and issues concerning curriculum and children's education. For parents who have children of special needs, there will be a great opportunity to learn about which school is more suitable for their children. Additionally, Dr. Indra V Selvarajah, the head of UPM's Fusion Lab (Music in Special Education Division) and the president of Malaysian Music Therapy Association (MMTA), will be speaking about special needs education and to introduce parents to what they need to know about the subject. She will be speaking on day 2 (Sunday) of the fair at 12pm.More than 50 private and international schools will be exhibited at the fair.
