The Private & International School Fair is Back in Kuala Lumpur!

Since 2012, the number of international schools has increased dramatically. There are now over 120 international schools in Malaysia, with the majority of international schools located in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. The growth in the number of international schools is due to increasing demand from Malaysian and expatriate parents for an English-medium education for their children. In addition, international schools offer globally recognised curricula leading to widely accepted qualifications.

To help parents navigate the world of international schools, Mint Communications introduced the first ever Private & International School Fair in Kuala Lumpur in 2012. Since it was first launched, the fairs have consistently attracted more international schools, preschools, learning centres and parents every year. There are now fairs in Johor, Penang, East Malaysia and Singapore.

According to Co-founder and Director, Nickie Yew, “The fair is a great opportunity to showcase a variety of international schools from all over Malaysia in a convenient location. We hope that parents will come to the fair to find the right school for their children through talking to the schools exhibiting at the fair and attending talks by international education experts.”

The 9^th Private & International School Fair will take place on 17 and 18 June 2017 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Opening hours are from 11am to 7pm, and admission is free.

The latest edition of Education Destination Malaysia will also be launched at the fair. Education Destination Malaysia is a comprehensive guide to international schools in the country. This guidebook contains detailed information on schools, useful articles and insightful advice to help parents make important decisions about their children’s education. At the fair, visitors will be able to purchase the guide at a discounted price.
