Rafflesia International & Private School signs Collaborative Agreement with Han Ming Primary School, Puchong

Rafflesia International & Private Schools and SJK (C) Han Ming Puchong (Han Ming) initiated a Collaboration Agreement to provide support for a continuous, purposeful and quality education pathway from Han Ming primary school to the Rafflesia secondary school. It is anticipated that both schools will cooperate to jointly develop and promote organisational instructional and institutional excellence.Forging synergistic partnerships with one of the largest Primary Schools in Malaysia, Han Ming primary school, Rafflesia & Han Ming students and teachers will have a regular exchange of school activities and programmes, as well as interschool competitions to promote interaction and understanding between the two communities. At the same time, both schools’ facilities will be open to each other.The MOA was signed by Mr. John Fancourt, Principal of Rafflesia International School Puchong and Mdm. Cheong Shiu Thin, Principal of Han Ming. The Chairman of Rafflesia Board of Governors, Emeritus Prof. Dr. Lee Fah Onn and the Chairman of Han Ming’s Parent Teacher Association, Mr. Loh Mun Shum witnessed the signing.“This is a tremendous moment for us; we have been looking forward to collaborating with Rafflesia. It provides an opportunity for our local students to experience International School education within an affordable framework. At the same time, our Han Ming teachers will benefit greatly from gaining exposure to an International School classroom approach, which will in turn enhance the quality of education in Han Ming.” shared by Han Ming Principal, Mdm. Together with Rafflesia’s existing collaborative partners, INTI International University & Colleges, Tsinghua Experimental School in China, St. Mary’s School in United States and Chinese International School in Singapore, this collaboration is yet another step forward for Rafflesia in their endeavor not just to develop links with other world leading educational institutions but also to support the local community. The Rafflesia-Han Ming collaboration is the first for Rafflesia with a local school.“Being an international school does not only mean that we are simply looking for international education partners.
