The school holidays, which will span 9 days starting 23 March, will begin in a few weeks’ time. Some parents may already have plans for their kids while others are still unsure on how to spend quality time with the young ones. In order to help parents with the holiday plans, the SchoolAdvisor team will bring to you a four-series feature that will encompass arts and language classes, sightseeing locations as well as other activities that can be done during the break.

If you have children who are sporty and energetic, this first feature would definitely get them excited because it’s all about adventure activities.

sphere

Adrenalin-rush seekers would love the SphereCraze as you will roll down a hill while being strapped into a giant plastic ball. Not exciting enough? Go for Wet Sphering, where water is added to the plastic ball for additional thrills. This activity is suitable for those aged over 10. Please also bear in mind that there is a height (1.5metres) and weight (80kg) restriction.

This activity is available to those with a minimum height of 1.3metres. Children below eight, who meet the height requirements, must be accompanied by an adult. There are also options of a more difficult nature, including the Big Thrill and Extreme Challenge, which respectively has 26 and 34 challenges. Both of the latter are suitable for children under 13 if they meet the height requirement (must be accompanied by an adult).

G-force

For those who always wanted to try bungee jumping but are daunted by the idea of jumping off a bridge, you may want to try G-Force X, which is the highest slingshot ride in Asia. Participants are restrained in a skyward facing reclining seat. In just two seconds, the ride takes the participant from zero to 120km/hour. This activity is suitable for older children.

Get the kids ready for some driving pleasure. This activity is also a good initiative to educate the soon-to-be drivers on the importance of discipline.
