There seems to be numerous benefits to incorporating technology in the process of education. It found that the use of technology encourages reasoning from evidence, supports collaborative learning, empowers student creativity, improves technology literacy, and global inclusiveness.Malaysia is making the effort to catch-up with the global changes in education and other areas. There are many teachers in schools that tend to bring their personal mobile devices to help students digest certain topics. The access to resources and visual aids is absolutely important to students and teachers.According to an article published by the Guardian, teachers can deliver material that might require a number of classes in short videos, infographics and/or various types of visual aids in a much shorter time. This is an efficient way of delivering subjects and improving the learning experience.However, not everyone is on-board with the use of technology due to concerns over the ability to maintain face-to-face communication and keep the human touch. Other concerns might have to deal with the fact that technology can be distracting because of the sheer amount of information available from all over the world.Technology is double-edged tool that needs to be regulated in ways that are suitable to students, teachers and teaching institutions, to improve the process of learning, teach critical thinking and allow for creative learning environment.
