HELP International School

HELP International School is HELP Education Group's first foray into preschool, primary and secondary education in Malaysia. The school adopts the British Curriculum, focusing on International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and leading up to the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels. Currently, with an enrolment of 1,300 students, the school is considered as one of the fastest growing international schools in Malaysia since it began operation in 2014.

Within the first two years of operation, the School was awarded 5-Star rating by the Malaysian Ministry of Education, under the SKIPS Awards Programme. Recently, we are also recognised as an Apple Distinguished School, a Common Sense Certified School in Digital Citizenship, and the approved provider of the much acclaimed Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

With the motto "Life in all its fullness", we believe that there is more in every child. We seek to discover and bring out the best in each child by nurturing his or her talent and potentials with an international team of experienced and passionate teachers. By providing a truly global and holistic educational experience, as well as integrating Eastern and Western educational philosophies, we hope to enable and inspire our students to live life to its fullest.

Preschool

Using the thematic IPC Early Years Curriculum, Preschool focuses on six areas of development: social and emotional development; communications, language and literacy; problem solving, reasoning and numeracy; knowledge and understanding of the world; physical development; and creative development (which includes Dance, Drama, Music and Art). The curriculum is further supported by an integrated phonics programme.

Primary School - IPC

Primary adopts the International Primary Curriculum (UK), which is a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum with a clear process of learning and with specific learning goals for every subject, for international mindedness and for personal learning. Foundation to the Maths Program is from Cambridge but enriched and extended using Singapore Maths. Mandarin language classes are compulsory and students are assigned appropriate competency levels.

Secondary School – IGCSE

Secondary follows the UK National Curriculum: International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE). In addition to the core academic disciplines, students are also given the opportunities to develop their talents in the performing arts programme (Dance, Drama, Music and Art); as well as be equipped with practical knowledge and useful life skills through the design and technology classes and career guidance curriculum.

Cambridge A-Levels

For over 30 years, the HELP Education Group has offered A-Levels programme that has enabled achievers to secure scholarships to study in world-class universities like Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, Chicago, University College London, Imperial College London, London School of Economics and the Australian National University. Scholarships are available for A-Levels programme.
