Principal & Director of Community Relations of Geelong Grammar School visits IGBIS

IGB International School (IGBIS) played host to a visit from the Principal of Geelong Grammar School, Australia (GGS), Mr. Stephen Meek along with GGS’s Director of Community Relations, Mr. Anthony Bretherton during a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur.

The visit was remarked to be a significant one by Mrs. Anne Fowles, the Head of School at IGBIS. She went on to elaborate that IGBIS has significant ties with GGS with several founders of IGBIS and directors of the IGB Group to be alumni’s of GGS.

With over 18 years experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, Mrs. Fowles, the Head of School at IGBIS is also the current Chairperson of the IB Heads council. 

Mr. Lister Hannah, the Chairman of IGBIS was a former student and Principal of GGS while Mr. Mohamed Tawfik Ismail, a member of IGBIS’s Board of Directors, Mr. Tan Boon Lee and Mr. Tan Boon Seng, Directors of IGB Corporation Berhad are all alumni’s of GGS.

IGBIS is a premier International Baccalaureate (IB) World School opening on 18th August 2014 at Sierramas and Valencia.  The school is bringing together experienced educators from across the globe to offer progressive programmes for students from 3 to 18 years including the IB Diploma Programme.
