Five New International Schools In Sarawak

Good news Sarawak! State Planning Authority has approved five proposed international schools sites, with construction works to begin sometime next year, according to Dr Annuar Rapaee, Assistant Minister of Education, Science and Technological Research.

This schools will cater to Form 1 students and to prepare them for both the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).

The sites of the proposed international schools would be – two in Kuching, and one each in Sibu, Miri and Bintulu.

“At the moment, we already have a lab to look into the syllabus, teachers as well as entry criteria,” he told reporters after launching the sixth edition of SPM Excellence Intensive Clinic 2019 (KLIK SPM’19) at University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS), here yesterday.
