About Kuala Lumpur Steiner Education
Kuala Lumpur Steiner Education is derived from the belief of mankind’s connection with the environment. Nestled between the hillside of Bukit Penchala, the school emphasizes on children’s wellbeing in association with the natural environment. The ecology of their environment is taught by example; buildings built with natural materials, perched at the tree tops overlooking the natural forest our school is located in. Children will play and grow beneath the forest trees in the natural breeze, foresting the love for nature more and more daily; the nature as the root of your children’s growth.The Structure of Steiner Education follows Rudolph Steiner’s theory of child development, which divides childhood into three development stages; lasting approximately seven years each. The stated purpose of this approach is to awaken the “physical, behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual” aspects of each individual, fostering creatives as well as analytic thinking.
The goal of Steiner education is to enable students as fully as possible to choose and, in freedom, to realize their individual path through life as adults.
