About Maktab Nasional
Maktab Nasional is a private mission school founded in 1984. Part of the St. Simon Education Complex, Maktab Nasional is a secondary school that shares its compound with SRS Datuk Simon Fung (primary school) and a kindergarten, Taska dan Tadika Datuk Simon Fung.Maktab Nasional was a one of first secondary schools in Sabah to use multimedia for teaching and learning. A high standard of English with extra classes including literature and a well developed reading program are taught. A theme based enrichment subject in English medium. Integrated with the English program. Mandarin Chinese : Divided into 3 levels to meet the needs of all children.
They take a holistic view of the education, where students are taught to learn to be creative to develop their analytical and critical thinking skills which sets then apart from the students in other academic institutions.
Part of the St. Simon Education Complex, the school provides facilities both academic and co-curricular that give balance to students at the school.
