About Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS)
The Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS) opened in 2011 and has rapidly established a local, national and international reputation as one of Malaysia’s most significant schools.Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS) is the first school in Malaysia to offer large scale British-style boarding alongside thriving day education. With a projected roll of 800, POWIIS is a school that puts academic endeavor at the top of its list of priorities ensuring that academic excellence is respected and recognized.
The curriculum is based on British standards, leading to IGCSE and A level. With support and encouragement from a dedicated staff whose passion is to teach, the students are expected to do their best at all times and to set their sights on the most prestigious universities after they leave school.
Prince of Wales Island International School provides the most up to date facilities nestled in a campus environments which is both beautiful and serene.
