About Sekolah Sri Pelita
Sri Pelita School was established in 1999 and is now part of the Pelita Schools group. The school places strong emphasis on developing a child’s multiple intelligences, focusing on IQ as well as EQ. EQ is specifically taught as a subject.Teachers and counsellors help students develop a range of issues ranging from confidence & self-esteem, responsibility & accountability, decision-making and teamwork & leadership.
At pre-school level, ESL classes and enrichment classes are provided to improve kids' proficiency in English. The maximum number of students in the class is 24. School also provides food for students' lunch and break meals. Communication with parents in primary level is via Daily Communication Book and in Secondary level, Email and phone calls will be communication mediums.
The school offers several scholarships which include one for a full time Christian pastoral ministry staff's children and one awarded for academic excellence.
Sri Pelita is well equipped in order to create a nurturing environment that seeks to foster a cohesive learning experience for all students. Facilities in the school include a well-spaced cafeteria along with an indoor badminton hall, outdoor tennis court and an amply spaced football field.
