About Sekolah Sri Tenby Setia Eco Park
Tenby International School Setia Eco Park was founded in Ipoh in 1960 by expatriate planters, miners and soldiers who wanted to ensure that their children received high quality education based on a traditional British system.Tenby International School Setia Eco Park is named after the founding principal, Mrs. Dorothy Nelson-Doig’s hometown, Tenby, a small fishing village in Wales.
With a vision of "A United World at Peace- through Education", Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park aim to nurture and educate young minds with a core value that includes life long learning, respect, sensitivity to cultural diversity and effective communication.
With campuses located all around Malaysia, Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park are located in Ipoh, Penang, Shah Alam, Miri and Johor.
Sekolah Sri Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park , follows the Malaysian national curricullum. The Primary School Curriculum would be KSSR ( Kurrikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah) . Students enrolled for this course would sit for Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) . This is the Primary School Achievement Test students sit in Primary Six.
The subjects offered in Sekolah Sri Tenby Schools Eco Park for the primary years are as follows:
- English Language , Bahasa Melaya and Chinese Language
- Science , Mathematics , ICT and Design and Technology (Reka Bentuk and Teknologi , RBT)
-Islamic Education and Moral Education
-Art, Music , History and Physical Health Education.
As for the Secondary Curricullum would be Kurrikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah (KSSM) or Secondary School Standard Curriculum. Students who would require to sit for two exams which is the Form Three Assesment (Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3, PT3) and Malaysian Certificate of Education ( Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, SPM) at Form 5.
