About Sekolah Sri Utama - Johor Campus
Sekolah Sri Utama (SSU) was established in Kuala Lumpur on 1st December 1993. It has two other campuses - Sekolah Sri Utama Johor Bahru and Sri Utama School, Kuala Terengganu. All are part of the Sri Utama Schools group.Sekolah Sri Utama (SSU) is a co-educational (boys and girls) institution. Bahasa Malaysia is the medium of instruction (as per the policy set by the Malaysian Ministry of Education). However, a strong emphasis is placed on the use of English, both written and oral in line with the aspirations and objectives of the National Education Policy.
They teach children aged 4 to 17 years old spanning from Kindergarten, Primary, right through to Lower and Upper Secondary levels in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Using the National Curriculum (KBSR & KBSM), students at Sri Utama take all three major examinations under the curriculum, namely UPSR, PMR and SPM.
At Sri Utama, students have access to a variety of facilities that encourage enthusiastic participation not only in their own learning and personal development, but also by keeping a healthy balance with physical activity and involvement in the wider school community. Facilities include air-conditioned classrooms, interactive smart-boards in classrooms, a library and resources center. Security is provided via 24 hours CCTV.
Private school bus pickups are also available to and fro certain locations around Kuala Lumpur.
