About Smart Reader
Smart Reader aims to nurture kids into becoming esteemed leaders and at the same time making sure that their curiosity and thirst for knowledge is well fed by instilling in them the need to be productive, the importance of being creative and also by teaching them to become better communicators by improving their eloquency in the english language. Established in the year 1988, the preschool has grown into a leading enrichment centre by providing quality education to kids as young as 2 years old. It puts a lot of emphasis on interactive learning as every child is different and no doubt many will greatly benefit from their creative-oriented syllabus. Group activities are also an important element in their education system as it is important to teach kids the spirit of teamwork from an early age so they will grow up to be an all rounded individual and effective members of the society.Smart Reader offers a few different programmes for kids from all walks of life. There are currently four different programmes being offered:
- Smart Reader Kids
- Smart Reader Kids ++
- Smart Reader Kids Mandarin Medium
- Smart Reader Kids Islamic
These programmes vary depending on the need of the students. The Smart Reader Kids Mandarin Medium comprises of 6 comprehensive levels based on the Han Yu Pin Yin approach so kids will experience a systematic way of learning Mandarin. The Smart Reader Kids Islamic, on the other hand, focuses on ingraining the values of religious education along with academic excellence. For the Smart Reader Kids programme, optional subjects which are Smart Mandarin and Fardhu Ain are offered. Kids will love the teaching approach as it it based on fun and excitement to ensure a smooth learning experience.
Most centres have specially designed rooms and areas that promote fun learning while keeping the kids active. The rooms are also air-conditioned to provide a comfortable and conducive environment so the kids can have better focus during their sessions. Apart from that, most centres also provide educational toys for kids to play and interact with during their break to introduce the concept of learning outside the classroom. Safety measures are also taken at each centre to ensure the safety of the children during class and after class.
