About Soka International School Malaysia

SISM stands for Soka International School Malaysia and is a non-denominational international school open to local and international students.

With the approval of the Cambridge Assessment International Education, the school will offer the Cambridge curriculum at the lower and upper secondary levels from the target year of 2023.

The lower secondary refers to Key Stage 3:

Year 7 to Year 9 (age 11 to 15).

The upper secondary refers to Key Stage 4:

Year 10 to Year 11 (age 14 to 17).

Preparations for the IGCSE exam will take place at the Cambridge Upper Secondary.

Pre-university programs are also available in SISM (12th-13th year). As mentioned above, we offer the International Baccalaureate Program and Cambridge International A Level with approval.

SISM offers a humanistic education approach based on the Value Creating philosophy. In addition, the school will be designed with vast outside learning areas, specialized labs, open classrooms and collaborative spaces for students to work. Our sports facilities include a 50m Olympic size swimming pool, a large multi-purpose sports hall, field and track to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

Our purpose-build visitor centre will be the first showcase for visitors to capture the first-hand experience of SISM education environment.
