Kingsgate International School in Bukit Jalil is set to open doors to students in January 2018

Founded in 2016,Kingsgate International School is set to become Malaysia’s premier international school. The school offers kindergarten through year 13 program based on an International British curriculum. Kingsgate is currently under construction in Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil and it is due to open its doors to students in January 2018.

Learning

Kindergarten

Early Years at Kingsgate International School see play as essential in supporting children’s learning and development. Play occurs in both indoor and outdoor environments and provides a context for them to feel comfortable and express themselves as well as a way to satisfy their natural curiosity. In play, children can learn in a variety of ways as they engage socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually with other children, adults and the environment. Play in a safe and secure environment allows children to try new things, take risks, solve problems and master learning situations. Teachers use these opportunities to reinforce social aspects such as caring for others, fairness, and personal responsibility.

Primary School

Kingsgate Primary School curriculum programmes include both homeroom teachers and a range of specialist learning programs to provide a holistic learning experience for all students. Specialist learning will include: Music, Art, PE, IT, library, Malay, Mandarin, Arabic and Islamic studies for the school's Muslim students.

Secondary School

Kingsgate International School delivers a rigorous and highly focused curriculum that also builds a breadth of life skills in preparation for their adult world. Year 7-9 students (Key Stage 3) will follow a conceptually based middle school curriculum that prepares students for the Upper Secondary Pathway.Year 10-11 students (Key Stage 4) will follow a college preparatory model that follows the IGCSE Secondary Pathway. This two-year IGCSE programme is academically rigorous but broad, allowing children to develop their strengths further in preparation for specialisation in A Levels.Students in Years 12 and 13 complete their AS and A Levels. This program is considered an advanced studies program and is recognized by all premier universities worldwide.

* The first 100 students will automatically become Foundation Members of the school alumni (2017/18) with a special 10% lifetime discount on all school fees

School Fees

• The non-refundable Application Fee is required to process your child's application.
• For new and continuing students a non- refundable enrollment fee will be charged.
• In order to register your child in the new academic year, you are required to pay the balance of the first term fees at least one month before the beginning of the school year.
• A student may not start the academic year unless the first term fees have been paid in full.
• The school reserves the right to withhold the term report until fees have been paid in full.
• The school reserves the right to withhold the final results and abstain from issuing any certificates until settlement of all school fees is made .
• Re- registration will not be accepted unless all fees due have been paid in full.

• 10% discount for one year payment in advance
• 5% discount for 6mths payment in advance
• Scholarships – Kingsgate International School offers a number of scholarships to students. Applications will be open prior to the commencement of each school year. Details are available on request.
• Discounts for extra children – 5% for second child. 10% for third and subsequent children
