Teacher arrested over UPSR test paper leaks

A school teacher and an insurance agent were detained with links to the leaked UPSR test papers in Kedah and Sentul, Kuala Lumpur yesterday.This comes to a total of six individuals detained regarding this case so far which includes five teachers of which two have been released upon bail and the remaining four still remanded until Thursday (18th September 2014).

Police have also recorded statements from six individuals working with the Examination Board along with a journalist with regards to the leak.

The UPSR test papers for Science (Code: 018, 028 & 038) and English (Code: 014) were found to be leaked onto social media last week which caused a nation-wide uproar amongst parents, teachers and students. The Ministry of Education has recalled both papers and will have some 400,000 Primary Six students retaking the exams on the 30th of September.
