An evening with parents at Rafflesia International School, Puchong

Featuring a prominent guest speaker in the field of education, Puan Bismillah Khatoon, Rafflesia International School, Puchong hosted a successful “Parents Evening” earlier this month.

With a great number of parents attending the event, Puan Bismillah Khatoon, the President of Kirkby International College who is also a member of Rafflesia Education Group’s Board of Governors had a great lecture session where she shared her professional views on the fundamentals of child education and how schools with parents can collaborate together to help the holistic growth and development of a child.

She also shared some of her 35 years experience in parenting and education on the right attitudes and characteristics to excel in life for children. The first Malaysian and non-British Inspector of Education in the United Kingdom shared and helped parents gain some enlightening insights in the realms of parents and education as well.

After the seminar, parents were invited by the homeroom teachers to visit their children’s classroom and see for themselves the wonders of the learning environment at Rafflesia international School. The session served as a great opportunity for parents and teachers to ask questions and be informed of the learning activities at the classroom.

 

 

The school is committed in fostering a greater bond between teachers, parents and the school in helping to foster the right environment and support structures in helping the children to grow.
