Open Day at Matrix International School, Bandar Sri Sendayan

The open day at Matrix International School (MIS) last Saturday (13^th September 2014) was a great success with visitors from the town of Seremban and beyond having a great time at the newly built school campus here in Bandar Sri Sendayan. Part of Matrix Global Schools, MIS is located at Bandar Sri Sendayan in a newly buuilt 20 acre campusd that it shares with Matrix Private School.

The school was a hive of activity from 9 in the morning with children and parents partaking in a wide range of fun activities provided by the school. This included face-painting, pony rides around the school along with fun and colorful balloons given to each visitor.

Parents & student alike also had the opportunity to meet and talk to the teachers here at MIS which then extended to introductions and briefings sessions with Mr. Frankland, the Principal of MIS along with Mrs. Evans, the Head of Primary and Mrs. Spence, the Head of Secondary at the school.

Visitors were offered the opportunity to tour the four storey school complex with dedicated learning facilities and ICT tools designed to enhance the learning experience here at MIS. This included a spacious library on the fourth floor with a bridge that connects MIS to its sister school, Matrix Private School (MPS).

The school tour also showcased live and interactive demonstrations of the tools and technologies used at the school, this included interactive learning boards and touch screen pad alongside a wealth of enrichment tools for key specific subjects in both primary and secondary school. Parents and students were encouraged to try out these tools and see for themselves the unique learning experience at MIS.

Parents were also able to consult and meet with school officials and teachers regarding the enrollment process at MIS. Several key members of the school’s administration including the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Felix Lee and the Principal of MIS, Mr. Frankland were on the ground to interact and talk to parents and students.

With an impressive array of facilities, there is still much of the 20 acre campus that is in the final stages of construction. The sporting facilities alongside the boarding houses are scheduled to be operational by early 2015 along with the facilities of MPS which is connected to the school via a bridge on the fourth floor.

The school already has an enrollment of over 100 students where school will begin on the 17^th of September 2014 while the sister school, MPS is scheduled to start in January 2015.
