The pandemic did not stop IISM - Secondary from enriching the lives of future leaders and scholars. The New Norm Hybrid Learning that had been implemented helped students grow holistically and elevate their intrinsic skills and knowledge to a new level.
The New Norm Hybrid Learning in International Islamic School Malaysia - Secondary (IISM - Secondary) is specially designed as a gesture of convenience for students to open up to the challenges they will face in future as scholars of reputable and top-notch higher learning institutions both locally and in the world.
The programme is tailored to suit the demands of today’s ‘hustle-and-bustle’ of the pandemic stricken years. We believe that each student deserves ample space to grow. Bearing in mind that education should be holistic, the content and approach should contain not only academic, it should also integrate soft skills. Having this understanding, we came up with this method to fulfil the said area of concern.
Education, as everyone knows, is of utmost importance to be acquired throughout the world. It is the means of bridging one nation to another. It is a means of convenience. This awareness struck us well that we decided to come up with such a concept and rise to the occasion. Being the crème-de-la-crème, our students aspire to be the best in all the areas they plan to venture into. They are doctors, pharmacists, engineers, lawyers and accountants in the making; thus, we mean to bring into a realisation that an outstanding paper qualification will not be what it is supposed to be in the absence of remarkable teaching and learning experience. With Hybrid learning in hand, we strive to assist them in transcending and being the platform for their promising future ahead.
Students will be exposed to various aspects of the subjects that they learn throughout the course of their lessons.
Last but not least, with some upgrades to this little initiative of ours, it is hoped that it will be of great assistance for students. Teachers will thoroughly monitor students progress and will, as much as possible, instil love and interest among students towards their learning experience, no matter what the circumstances are.
