About HELP International School
HELP International School (HIS) is part of the HELP Education Group and is located in Subang Bestari, Shah Alam . The school provides a continuous international-school pathway from Preschool through A Level, combining British and international curricula with a holistic educational approach.
The school's motto, "Life in All Its Fullness," reflects its aim to develop students who are academically capable while also becoming resilient, compassionate and globally minded individuals.
HIS describes its educational philosophy as combining the best of Western and Eastern values , with an emphasis on academic achievement, character development and preparation for life beyond school. The school is also supported by the research-led approach of HELP University's Faculty of Education and Faculty of Behavioural Sciences .
The school has more than 1,400 students and 150+ teachers and operates from a purpose-built campus approximately 20–30 minutes from central Kuala Lumpur .
HIS uses the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) for Preschool.
The programme focuses on six key areas:

- Knowledge and understanding of the world

- Creative development
Creative development incorporates Dance, Drama, Music and Art .
The programme is also supported by an integrated phonics programme .
The Primary School follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) .
The IPC is a thematic and creative curriculum designed around specific learning goals for subjects, international mindedness and personal learning.
Mathematics is based on the Cambridge Mathematics programme , enriched and extended using Singapore Maths .
Mandarin is compulsory for all students , with students assigned to appropriate competency levels.
The Secondary School follows the UK National Curriculum , leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) .
Students study a broad range of subjects before selecting their IGCSE options.
HIS offers more than 20 IGCSE subjects .
Students also take part in an Entrepreneurial and Enrichment Programme , alongside PSHE, career development and digital citizenship.
Students in Years 10–11 follow the IGCSE programme.
HIS works with several examination boards, including:

- Pearson Edexcel
- Oxford AQA
- AQA UK
This provides students with a broad selection of internationally recognised examination pathways.
HIS also offers Cambridge A Level for students after their IGCSEs.
The A Level programme is a two-year programme .
The school highlights its history of preparing students for universities around the world, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, Imperial College London, UCL and LSE.
