Kingsley International School offers a boarding option for Year 7 and over students who require it. At the Maple Leaf Kingsley Residential Hall, the school supports the child through a safe and caring environment by safeguarding and promoting the child’s welfare through services such as counselling, health and food services and other activities and excursions. At Kingsley, students will develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, others and the environment.
Kingsley International School offers the Cambridge International Curriculum of England from Early Years until Year 9. Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum is offered in Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12. The school instils fun in learning and good values in its curriculum. Teachers are pleased to assist students in obtaining a satisfactory level of self-confidence and awareness.
The Early Years Department (EYD) looks into the 7 Areas of Learning and Development, ensuring that students can express themselves through interpersonal and intrapersonal communication, literacy and numeracy, expressing through art and design, and enhancing their motor skills.
Students at the Primary School level are exposed to a broad range of subjects through a vigorous yet fun-filled, cross-curricular approach that will equip them with the skills and knowledge before moving on to the next level. Your child will be furnished through English Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Music and Art, Physical, Personal and Social Health Education, and Modern Foreign Langauge. Malay and Mandarin will be introduced to your child too during this time to enable their language development.
Secondary education at MLKIS will not only prepare your child for IGCSE but equip them with the necessary skills to become a future leader by incorporating the 21st-century skills and challenging them to think creatively and critically.
A Level is offered at MLKIS too. This programme is geared towards students who wish to continue their tertiary education abroad. Kingsley International School guides students to get into the university and course of their choice.
