GIS students presents jazz concert at No Black Tie: An air of jazz music serenaded by Garden International School's performing band.A number of over 100 guests were serenaded with the music of live jazz and Latin at No Black Tie, Kuala Lumpur.The two-hour jazz concert featured a mixture of Latin, swing and funk genres, performed by Latin Express. The band comprising of 3 teachers and 14 students played a number of classical and contemporary jazz pieces such as Sway and It had better be tonight.“It was a great opportunity for the students to play at such an established jazz venue. It’s amazing to see them growing and learning right before your eyes,” commented Head of Music Helen Long.The foundation of creativity drives from the art of music.
