Simply bring along your unused or unwanted items to be exchanged with others. Please be mindful that BarterIt has a strict no cash policy. Concurrently, there will be a recycling project by Kenchana Earth Project. Just bring along your recyclable items such as glass bottles, magazines, books, paper and plastic and help do your part for beloved Mother Earth.

One of the best things about living in Malaysia is that we do not have to venture far to get a feel of wildlife. Located just 30 minutes away from the KL city centre, Bukit Melawati is home to a unique breed of primates dubbed silverleaf and long-tailed macaques. These gentle creatures are a vibrant shade of orange when young and gradually turn silver as they reach adulthood. Other than bringing your own fruits, you can purchase peanuts from vendors close by to feed the monkeys.
If you have never been hiking with your kids before maybe now is the time to do so! Bukit Putih (also hilariously known as Bukit Apek) in Cheras has an accessible and scenic trail that takes two hours to summit, where you’ll find a small waterfall. Despite its proximity to urban areas, Bukit Putih has a surprising number of wildlife living here, including birds, monkeys and squirrels.
