As a result, many of the international schools in Johor are located in the Iskandar region, offering high-quality British, American, and International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula.

Marlborough College Malaysia

Located in Iskandar Puteri, in the Johor Bahru District, Marlborough College Malaysia, or MCM, is one of the finest British international schools in Malaysia. In addition, the college has links with UK’s own Marlborough College in Wiltshire, England. MCM aims to encourage students to discover their confidence and embrace diversity through compassion, companionship and conversation.

The school provides a high-quality British curriculum and offers IGCSE for students in Years 9 to 11 before they continue their pre-university with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This allows them to enrol into the world’s most prestigious universities.

The school offers the British National Curriculum, and students are accessed through Key Stages, which focuses on building the foundation of students’ knowledge before they sit for the IGCSE. The school provides the IB Diploma Programme and A-Levels at the pre-university level.
