ISKL Seniors Recognized as Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Program

Two ISKL students were recognized for their achievements in the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) is delighted to announce that two of our students are recognized as Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Program. High School students took the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), and Zoe B. ('22) and Hassan Z. ('22) were identified based on their scores. A Letter of Commendation was presented by the Head of School, Mr. Rami Madani, and High School Principal, Mr. Jeff Farrington, to these talented seniors.
Zoe was presented the Letter of Commendation by the Head of School, Mr Rami Madani, and the High School Principal, Mr Jeff Farrington.The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. Approximately 1.5 million students take the qualifying test each year. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) identified the top 50,000 highest scorers, of which our two students were included. These Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success.
