Kids are seldom allowed in the kitchen area since they can hurt themselves easily with all the knives and glass bowls. So why not give the kids a mini tour of the kitchen while also getting them to put on their little aprons and get their inner iron chef going. The easiest recipe that you can enjoy making with the kids is probably chocolate chip cookies because let's be real, who doesn't love chocolate chip cookies? Kids these days are only used to coloring and drawing on their tablets, so why not make them experience old school drawing and coloring on papers? You can buy huge parchment papers at your local convinience store and turn it into a carpet paper for them to draw and color on. Make it a rule for them to fill in every inch of the paper before you can move on to the next activity, the size of the paper can keep them going for hours. You can also play a drawing game with them using A4 papers. For more ideas on drawing games, click here.
