According to Deputy Chairman Adam Chan, the development goes beyond mere facility upgrades.

“We are creating a vibrant environment that brings academic excellence, enterprise, innovation, mental health and sports in one connected community. The HELP Sports Oval is a meaningful step forward in this journey,” he said.

Supporting Young Athletes

HELP International School and HELP University currently nurture many student-athletes who compete nationally while balancing rigorous academic pathways.

Participants of the HELP relay challenge at the launch featured HELP students, parents, and teachers.

The new Sports Oval aims to further support these athletes and broaden opportunities for other students to grow through sports, character building and leadership.

During her speech, YB Puan Hannah Yeoh emphasised that sports are one of the greatest teachers in a child’s life. Sports teach discipline and the ability to lose graciously. When children fall and get up again, they’re building the resilience they need for real-life rejection and challenges,” she said.

She also highlighted the importance of collaboration between parents and schools in raising young athletes. “It starts with parents and schools walking this journey together. Congratulations to all parents here at HELP International School, you’re showing that you’re investing in your child’s growth through sports.”

YB Hannah Yeoh received a token of appreciation from Ashley Soh, a HELP International School student who is also a national open water swimmer, who will compete in the upcoming 33rd SEA Games in Thailand later this month.

A Space for the Wider Community

HELP also aims to have the Sports Oval benefit the surrounding Subang Bestari community through inter-school tournaments, training, and other collaborative community programmes.

“Sports have the unique ability to break barriers, deepen friendships and strengthen unity,” said Adam Chan.

Part of a Growing Education Hub

The Sports Oval is one of the several upcoming developments that will elevate Subang 2 into a fully integrated education hub. HELP is also planning a purpose-built residential tertiary precinct to support wellbeing, academic focus and a strong sense of belonging for both local and international students.

As the developments take shape, HELP remains focused on creating an environment where learning, living and meaningful engagement come together in a dynamic, forward-looking campus ecosystem.
